Summary
The aim of the project is to research and develop a diagnostic and control system that will allow the integration of discarded batteries from many types of BEVs and various electro-hybrids for their subsequent use for stationary battery storage, which will be necessary after 2025 to cover the peaks of intermittent energy sources, especially from wind and solar. The project design targets the secondary use of these battery systems, which will be discarded due to their reduced capacity for transport use, but will still be sufficiently usable for stationary battery storage applications. Currently, each manufacturer uses its control system through a specific control unit - there are countless of these units. The aim of the project is to come to the market with a universal device.
