ADVANCEMED: Trends and modern technologies in healthcare
27 March | The ADVANCEMED 2025 conference will take place in Ostrava's Dolní Vítkovice on 3 and 4 April and will focus on the latest trends and opportunities in artificial intelligence, virtual reality, robotics and other modern technologies in healthcare. One of the expert sponsors of the event is the Technical University of Ostrava.
The award for the best FEECS teacher went to Jan Fulneček
26 March | Associate Professor Jan Fulneček became the best teacher according to the students' evaluation for the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science(FEECS). He received the award today at a festive meeting of the Scientific Council of the University of Science and Technology.
Experts from VSB-TUO develop a new type of heat storage tank
25 March | Scientists from VSB-TUO together with partners from Fraunhofer ICT, Fraunhofer IWU, University of Vaasa, BME and nollaE are working on the development of an innovative solution for thermal energy storage. The new type of storage will find application in systems with a high share of renewable energy.
