Title
Efektivní numerické metody pro analýzu vrstevnatých materiálů a konstrukcí

Summary
Layered and composite materials and structures are usually analysed by the homogenization techniques at this time. The more accurate refined Reissner-Mindlin theory with independent kinematic assumptions is used only for analysis of construction details because it leads to large systems of equations which cannot be treated effectively on single-processor computers. The proposed approach will be used for the analysis of more complex layered structures and the large resulting system of equations will be solved by the modified Finite Element Tearing and Interconnecting algorithm (FETI). The FETI technique is an effective domain decomposition method and it is suitable for parallelization. Several types of preconditioning will be studied and special attention will be devoted to the constraint matrices. The micromechanical model based on Mori-Tanaka averaging technique will be used for evaluating of the local strain and stress fields in the faces and the overall instantaneous properties.
