Summary
Submitted project deals with problems of electric power distribution networks regarding operation of renewable power sources. Renewable power sources and its interconnection into electric power system is nowadays very actual problem of electric power engineering. Connection of these sources do not only affect network’s reliability, but also other parameters of distribution system (voltage,
short-circuit current). Distribution networks with connected renewable power sources should be also optimized with the view of minimal active losses. Optimization of distribution networks will be solved with supporting software. The certain conditions of renewable power sources operation will be defined after we generalize the optimizing calculations in that way, so it will be possible prevent
failure events in the grid (blackout).
