Summary
Systems of hybrid vehicle drive s based on complex control of energy flow between two or more continuously working subsystems. It combines electrical vehicle drive with combustor engine, gas turbine or fuel cells with components for energy accumulation. Efficiency depends on engine system configuration and primarily on its control algorithms. Drive control of hybrid vehicle presents complex multiparametric regulated system, which takes note of requirements of motion properties of vehicle and short or longtime possibilities of vehicles’ source systems. Said tasks of optimal control of energy flows in vehicle and their transformations form key problem of how to attain maximum utility properties.
The goal of the project is fundamental research of new conceptions and control methods of main traction systems of hybrid vehicles. The project follows the line of researches of new drive unit conceptions, modern structures and drive algorithms, high efficiency power semiconductor converters and research of other mechatronical elements of hybrid vehicle drives. Project is finished by experimental verification of suggested solutions.
