Summary
Basic premises for the calculation of the obtrusive light level produced by remote light sources are informations about the light intensity, spectral range, and also about the physical characteristics of the atmosphere. Goal of this project is quantifying the lighting conditions on and under the night sky which is lited by earth light sources. Comparing of luminance and illuminance levels under different conditions can help designed more efficient lighting systems with smallest impact to the brightness of the night sky and at the same time ensuring a sufficient levels of the public lighting.
