The laboratory will add a modern "nest" consisting of a pair of industrial robots with a payload capacity of 11 kg and a range of 1.1 metres, one of which is mounted on a travelling system. "The extension also includes a KUKA industrial robot with a load capacity of up to 60 kg and a range of over 2.1 metres. The laboratory will also be equipped with an autonomous mobile robot MIR500 with a capacity of 500 kg, which is equipped with an automated conveyor body from ROEQ, designed for transporting euro pallets," said Jiří Koziorek, head of the Department of Cybernetics and Biomedical Engineering. Further expansion is planned this year in the areas of camera systems, sensor testing equipment and equipment for simulating manual assembly with the ability to measure worker workload.
