The Czech Republic, as one of the most industrialised countries in Europe, stands at a crossroads. The current economic model based mainly on the use of skilled and relatively cheap labour has exhausted itself. A fundamental transformation of the Czech economy is therefore inevitable.
In the new publication Industry 4.0 - The Basis of the Czech Republic's Economic Transformation, the authors present a very comprehensive and technologically based step-by-step concept, and try to show the direction in which industry and the Czech economy must move in the coming years.
The book offers a comprehensive view of strategy, new technologies, artificial intelligence, digitalization, cybersecurity, sustainability and education for Industry 4.0.
Leading experts from the FEECS, Professors Marek Lampart, Radek Martinek, Jan Platoš and Ivan Zelinka, also contributed to the publication.
