New Project FEECS with TECPA company Launched!
On June 5, 2024, a project called Use of pulsed excitation techniques for non-destructive testing of elastic material properties was launched during a kick-off meeting at @Tecpa, attended by Professor Radek Martinek and his team from FEECS, the Department of Cybernetics and Biomedical Engineering and the Department of Applied Mathematics. Additionally, three colleagues from Mendel University are involved in the project under the auspices of VSB-TUO.

The aim of the project is to develop a comprehensive measuring system for impulse excitation techniques, which will serve to characterize the elastic properties of materials (Young's modulus of elasticity in tension, shear modulus of elasticity, Poisson's ratio) under various thermal and atmospheric conditions. The project aims to create apparatus that allows precise measurement of these parameters, which is crucial for industrial research and development

This project aligns with the national research and innovation strategy and contributes to sustainable development by reducing waste and CO2 production.

And it is supported by the Operational Programme Technologies and Applications for Competitiveness for the period 2021-2027 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
