13 January | Access to the latest technologies and a unique opportunity to enter the world of quantum computing will be offered to students by the FEECS in cooperation with the National Supercomputing Centre IT4Innovations at the VSB - TUO. It responds to market demands and the success of IT4Innovations, which will host the first quantum computer in the Czech Republic. As the first in the Czech Republic, they will open a new specialisation focused on quantum informatics in the autumn.

02 December | A great success was recorded by scientists from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of VSB - TUO. Their article "Quantum Cryptography in 5G Networks: A Comprehensive Overview" published this year in the prestigious IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials was ranked among the most cited articles in the world for Computer Science for July and August.
VSB - TUO strengthened cooperation with hospitals and universities in Vietnam
