Summary
Submitted project application is following on from previous projects (429/2017 a 614R1/2017), that were solved in the past and were intended for initial experimental and simulation measurements in order to achieve advanced measurement. Increasing demands of end-users for available bandwidth, data network capacity or higher bitrate are more and more frequent with implementation of new advanced real-time services within newly constructed NGA/NGN networks.
The team of authors aim is to perform advanced measurements according to approved norms and standards for operators at different types of hybrid topologies constructed from xPON, xWDM and xDSL systems. Inseparable part of these new services is rules setting of traffic management through prioritization of IP packets for individual service/protocol in the network. This will be the main point of interest for the team of authors. Other goals are directed on networks loads and the evaluation of their parameters based on sophisticated measurement methods.
